This year we had the fantastic opportunity to work
for a great client, Chameleon Music, one of San Francisco's
finest digital music distribution hubs. President and CEO
Kurt Kunselman promotes all the shows for his artists through
his website. Whereas before he was hard coding all his shows
using html, this became unmanageable. We sat down and
in one evening defined the requirements needed to implement
a new band/show management application into his website,
http://chameleonmusic.com. We found the best possible solution
using open-source (free to the public) internet tools from the
Java/J2EE development kit, including JSP, Beans, JDBC and Apache
Tomcat with one of todays' best lightweight databases, MySQL.
Kurt's company is growing exponentially as Chameleon Music is a
harbinger for one of today's greatest revolutions,
digital distribution. We are so proud to provide a helping hand
in that process, helping Kurt's vision and his affilliate bands'
dreams come true.
The application can be seen at http://postmusic.net,
